The School of Education encourages the well rounded development of our student teachers nationally and globally. Teachers with diverse experiences are more prepared to engage in a society that is increasingly becoming more diverse and global.
Students interested in participating in a global student teaching experience will complete their first half of their Clinical II experience abroad in an English speaking international school. Student teaching opportunities are available to TCNJ students in a variety of countries, including Finland, South Africa, Italy and Thailand. This unique global teaching experience gives students the opportunity to live, work and learn in another culture while growing as professionals. After their time abroad, students return to the states to complete the remainder of their Clinical II experience in a New Jersey or Pennsylvania school.
